About

Hi, I’m Erin, and I’ve spent twenty-odd years taking minutes in rooms where it really mattered: confidential, multi-agency, sometimes difficult meetings, as well as running client meetings and an office day-to-day, including funding rounds and investor meetings where the wrong note could genuinely cost money. Different worlds, same underlying skill, producing a record that’s accurate, useful, and stands up afterwards.

This site started because most minute-taking advice online is generic: agenda templates, meeting etiquette, the basics. None of it deals with what actually trips people up: unclear audio, a meeting that turns emotional, a transcript that’s confidently wrong, or knowing when a missed word matters and when it doesn’t.

AI notetakers are part of that story too. They’re a useful tool, but they’re not a substitute for judgement, and in some meetings, getting that wrong isn’t a minor inconvenience.

A note on confidentiality: nothing here reflects a real case, organisation, or identifiable situation. Much of this work has been covered by NDAs and professional confidentiality obligations, and everything here is generalised from experience because the discretion this work demands doesn’t stop at the meeting room door.

If that’s useful to you, whether you take minutes yourself or you’re responsible for making sure they’re done properly, have a look around.

Thanks for reading and hope you find something helpful here.
