This page explains what personal information this website collects, why it is collected, and what you can ask me to do about it. It is written to be read rather than skimmed past.
Who is responsible for your information
Professional Minutes is a trading name of Vistera Ltd, which is the data controller for this website.
Vistera Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, company number 16890983. Registered office: 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. VAT registration number GB508432992.

What this site collects
If you use the contact form
The contact form asks for your name, your email address and your message. Those details are sent to me by email so that I can reply to you. They are not stored in the website’s database and they are not added to any mailing list.
If you download a template or checklist
Nothing. The downloads on this site are free and ungated. There is no sign-up, no email address required, and no data collected beyond the general site analytics described below.
When you read the site
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages people actually read. It tells me that a page was viewed, roughly where in the world the visitor was, and how they arrived. It does not tell me who you are, and Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address.
The site is also connected to Google Search Console, which reports which search terms the site appeared for. That data is aggregated and contains nothing personal.
Cookies
A consent banner appears on your first visit and asks before any analytics cookies are set. If you decline, they are not set.
cookieyes-consentrecords the choice you made on the banner, so that you are not asked again on every page._gaand_ga_<id>are set by Google Analytics to tell one visit apart from another. They are only set if you accept.- WordPress sets its own cookies if you log in or leave a comment. It sets none for ordinary reading.
You can change your mind at any time using the consent link on the banner, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Server logs
This site is hosted by Hostinger. Like every web host, it keeps standard server logs that include IP addresses, to keep the site running and to deal with attacks. I do not use those logs for anything else.
Why I am allowed to hold it
- Replying to your message. Legitimate interests. You wrote to me and expect an answer.
- Analytics cookies. Your consent, given through the banner, and withdrawable at any time.
- Server logs. Legitimate interests, being the security and stability of the site.
Who else sees it
Google, as the provider of Analytics and Search Console. Hostinger, as the company hosting the site and carrying the email. That is the full list.
Nothing collected here is sold, rented, or passed to anyone for marketing. Google is based in the United States, and transfers of data outside the UK are covered by the safeguards in Google’s own terms.
How long it is kept
- Contact form emails: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Analytics data: Google’s retention setting, currently 14 months for visitor-level data. Aggregate reporting is kept indefinitely.
- Server logs: Hostinger’s own retention period, which is a matter of weeks.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask me to give you a copy of what I hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it, or object to how it is being used. Email hello@professionalminutes.com and I will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not happy with how I have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is written for people at work. It is not aimed at children, and I do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Adding advertising or a mailing list would both count, and both would be written up here before they went live.
Questions about any of it: hello@professionalminutes.com.
