What this site is, and what it is not
Everything here is general guidance on taking meeting minutes, written from experience. It is not legal advice, employment advice, or professional advice of any other kind, and it is not a substitute for taking proper advice on your own situation.
That matters most on the pages dealing with HR meetings, disciplinary hearings, AGMs and formal committee procedure. The rules that apply to your organisation depend on your constitution, your policies and your legal obligations, and they will not always match what is described here. If a decision carries real consequences, check it with someone qualified to advise on it.
The free templates and checklists
The templates and checklists on this site are free to download and use. You may use them at work, adapt them, rename them, and keep using them for as long as they are useful. No attribution is required and no payment is due.
The one thing you may not do is repackage them and sell them on, or present them as your own work in a product you are charging for. Use them, do not resell them.
They are provided as they are. Check that a template fits your organisation’s requirements before relying on it for a formal meeting.
Everything else on the site
The written content, images and layout belong to Vistera Ltd. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back. Republishing whole articles, or feeding the site wholesale into another product, is not permitted.
Advertising and affiliate links
This site carries no advertising at present, and no affiliate links.
If that changes, it will be obvious. Affiliate links will be marked as affiliate links wherever they appear, adverts will be visible as adverts, and the privacy policy will be updated before any advertising cookie is set. A recommendation on this site will never be one that was bought.
Links to other sites
Where this site links somewhere else, that site is not under my control and I am not responsible for what it does or what it says. A link is not an endorsement of everything on the other end of it.
Availability
I try to keep the site up and the information accurate and current. I cannot promise either without interruption. The site may be unavailable at times, and content may go out of date between updates.

Vistera Ltd is not liable for any loss arising from the use of this site or from reliance on anything published here, including any loss connected with a meeting, a minute, a decision or a dispute.
